In 1997, Nestle discontinued the manufacturing of the Wonder Ball after it posed as a choking hazard. The Wonder Ball was a spherical thin shell of chocolate that included a small toy inside. Nestle insisted the product was safe; however, it was later discontinued due to receiving several safety reports.
Formally known as Nestle Magic Ball, the candy included small toys of Disney characters. In 2000, the Wonder Ball was re-released by replacing the small toys with more candy. The brand was later sold to another candy company, known as Frankford. The Wonder Ball would once again become discontinued, this time by Frankford.
