It is possible to make coffee pods at home using a stainless steel measuring scoop, a jar or glass that fits inside the measuring scoop and several small coffee filters. You should choose a stainless steel scoop that fits into the pod holder on the coffee maker.
To begin, place the filter over the bottom of the jar and put it into the measuring scoop. You should then press and spin the jar to help the filter take the shape of the jar. Next, add one scoop of the desired coffee into the filter and fold the top of the filter down, forming a pod. To seal the pod shut, smash the jar down hard into the measuring cup. Once removed from the cup, the pod is ready to be used in a pod coffee maker.
