To make a tuna casserole with potato chips, combine 1 1/2 cups of cooked noodles with one can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup of milk. Add 5 ounces of tuna, 1/2 cup of crushed potato chips, 1/2 cup of chopped onion and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
Pour all of the above ingredients except the potato chips into a casserole dish, and then sprinkle the crushed chips on top. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, and serve.
To make the dish healthier, use the above recipe, but include 1 cup of cooked, drained peas in the mixture.
Any kind of potato chip will work with this recipe, though plain chips, or ones with flavors that blend well with tuna, such as cheddar and sour cream or sour cream and onion, might be best.
