The top 10 most valuable liquor brands are Johnnie Walker, Kweichow Moutai, Hennessey, Bacardi, Smirnoff, Chivas Regal, Wuliangye, Luzhou Laojiao, Jack Daniels and Baileys. The list is based on each brand's annual value in millions as well as their rating and the number of cases sold.
Johnnie Walker more than doubled its earnings between 2012 and 2013, landing it in first place for the second year in a row. The brand's substantial growth puts it well above the Chinese baijiu maker, Kweichow Moutai, and baijiu was once one of the most consumed liquors in the world. Business Insider attributes Johnnie Walker's success to the growth of its exclusive products, such as Blue Label and Double Black.
