Some tips for reheating a pre-cooked turkey are to let the turkey stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before reheating, place the turkey upside down in the pan, cover the turkey with foil and about 10 minutes before the turkey is ready take off the foil and baste with butter or turkey drippings. It is also suggested to preheat the oven to 350 F, but immediately turn the oven down to 275 F when the turkey is placed inside.
Placing the turkey upside down in the pan will prevent the breast from drying out. It is also recommended to add a cup of water to the pan for a juicier bird. Leave the turkey in the oven for about 5 minutes per pound. For easier carving, let the turkey stand for a few minutes after removing from the oven before you cut.
