A recipe that features Campbell's soup and green beans is Classic Green Bean Casserole. Combine Campbell's Fat-Free Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup with milk, soy sauce, pepper and green beans in a baking dish. Top the dish off with French's French Fried Onions.
Combine one 10 1/2-ounce can of cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce and a dash of black pepper in a baking dish. For best results, use a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Add 4 cups of cooked, cut green beans and 2/3 cup of fried onions to the mix. Bake the casserole at 350 degrees until the casserole bubbles, approximately 25 minutes. Stir the casserole, then sprinkle 2/3 cup of fried onions on top. Bake for another five minutes until the onions turn golden brown.
Use 20 ounces of frozen green beans or two 14.5-ounce cans of green beans for the recipe. Thaw frozen green beans or drain canned green beans before putting them in the casserole dish.
Alternatively, substitute the soy sauce for 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and sprinkle the top with 1/4 cup of shredded cheese along with the crunchy onion top. For color, add 1/4 cup of chopped red pepper into the cream of mushroom soup and cook the casserole according to the original instructions.
