Make light and healthy chocolate-cherry heart smart cookies by mixing together 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup whole wheat flour, 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Turn the stove to low heat, and heat 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a saucepan. Once the butter melts, remove the saucepan from heat, and whisk in 3/4 cup of packed light brown sugar. Dollop the dough onto a cookie sheet, and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes.
