Some sugar-free desserts include AllRecipes.com's Sugarless Pumpkin Pie, EatingWell's Cherries with Ricotta and Toasted Almonds, and Eating Well's Melon and Apple Granita. The pumpkin pie recipe uses artificial sweetener in place of sugar, but the other recipes don't use this ingredient.
To make the Sugarless Pumpkin Pie recipe, start by mixing together an egg, 6 packets of artificial sweetener and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice. Add in 1 cup of pumpkin puree and 1 cup of evaporated milk. Pour the pumpkin mixture into a 9-inch pre-made pie shell. Bake the pie on a baking sheet at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
For the Cherries with Ricotta and Toasted Almonds recipe, heat 3/4 cup of frozen, pitted cherries on high in the microwave for one to two minutes. Serve the warm cherries with 2 tablespoons of ricotta cheese and 1 tablespoon of toasted slivered almonds.
To make the Melon and Apple Granita recipe, blend 4 cups of cubed ripe melon, 1 cup of unsweetened apple juice and 1/4 cup of lime juice. Place the melon mixture in a 9-by-13-inch pan, place the pan in the freezer, and scrape the granita every 30 minutes with a fork. After three or four hours, remove the granita from the freezer, and break it into small slivers. Place the slivers in an airtight container, and freeze them for another hour. Serve the granita with 1 cup of fresh blueberries and raspberries.
