Diet Coke, Diet Mountain Dew, Diet Pepsi, Diet Rite Pure Zero and Pepsi One are made with Splenda. Splenda, or sucralose, is used as an aspartame replacement in many diet drinks.
Diet Coke sweetened with Splenda has used sucralose as an artificial sweetener in place of aspartame since 2005, after pressure from the large box retailer Wal-Mart. In August 2013, reformulated Diet Pepsi was introduced to the market, featuring sucralose as a replacement for aspartame. Diet Mountain Dew uses Splenda in combination with aspartame and other artificial sweeteners. Diet Rite Pure Zero is also formulated with Splenda, as is the cherry flavor version.
