Some simple three-ingredient meals are Pillsbury's Crescent Dogs and Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll-ups. Pillsbury's Crescent Dogs use eight hot dogs, four slices of American cheese and a container of crescent rolls, while the Ham and Cheese Roll-ups call for eight slices of cooked ham, 4 slices of cheddar cheese and a container of crescent rolls. Both recipes take about 10 minutes to prepare and serve around eight people.
To make the Crescent Dogs, cut a slit in each hot dog, stopping within 1/2 inch of each end. Cut each of the four slices of American cheese into six thin strips. Insert three strips of cheese into each hot dog slit. Wrap the hot dogs in a crescent roll triangle, and put them onto a cookie sheet with the cheese side facing up. Bake the crescent dogs for 12 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
For the Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll-ups, cut each of the four slices of cheddar cheese into four strips. Place two strips of cheese and a slice of cooked ham on each crescent roll triangle. Roll the dough into a crescent shape, and place each roll on a cookie sheet. Bake the roll-ups for 15 to 19 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
