Make easy pot roast with vegetables by rubbing 2 to 3 pounds of boneless chuck roast with Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning it with a mixture of 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of dried oregano and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Put the chuck roast in a roasting pan, and add 8 baby red new potatoes, 4 peeled carrots, 8 ounces of baby portobello mushrooms, 1/2 sliced sweet onion and 6 peeled and halved garlic cloves. Sprinkle everything with 1 package of dry onion soup mix, and pour a mixture of 1/4 cup of red wine, 3/4 cup of beef broth and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste into the bottom of the pot. Simmer the mixture before baking it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 90 minutes. Add vegetables, and roast for another hour.
