For a simple ice cream recipe using a Ninja blender, according to the official Ninja Kitchen website, blend 2 and 1/2 cups of whole milk, a 3.4-ounce package of instant vanilla pudding mix and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Freeze the mixture before blending it for best results.
Prepare the ice cream mix by lightly whisking 2 cups of whole milk together with the vanilla pudding mix in a large mixing bowl until it is dissolved. This should take about one minute. Avoid over mixing the ingredients, since this may cause it to thicken. Pour the mixture into two ice cube trays, and freeze it for at least eight hours.
Once the mixture is frozen, dump the cubes into the Ninja blender jar along with the rest of the whole milk and vanilla extract. Use the standard blade attachment, and process the ingredients with the crush function for 35 to 40 seconds. Remove the blades, and scoop the ice cream out.
To make chocolate ice cream, follow the same steps, except using just milk and an instant chocolate pudding mix. The vanilla and chocolate ice cream recipes may be modified by making the base recipe and then adding in other desired ingredients such as fruit, cookies, candies or flavored syrups.
