To shred spaghetti squash, first cut the squash in half, remove the seeds, place the squash in a baking pan and bake the squash in an oven for 30 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Loosen the strands of squash away from the skin, and top it with spaghetti sauce.
- Wash and cut the squash
Rinse dirt off the spaghetti squash with clean water, and blot the squash with a paper towel. Slice it half lengthwise, and use an ice cream scoop or large spoon to remove the seeds.
- Bake the squash
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F, pour some water in a baking pan, place the squash halves hollow sides down in the pan, and place the pan in the oven. Bake the squash for about 30 minutes, at which point the texture of the squash should be soft.
- Remove strands, and top the spaghetti squash with sauce
Remove the squash from the oven, and put the halves on a plate. After allowing them to cool, separate the strands from the skin with a fork, transfer the squash onto a dinner plate with a spoon and spread a layer of spaghetti sauce on top. Serve and enjoy the spaghetti squash.
