In order to prepare this dish, cut the savoy cabbage into eight wedges with some core attached. Boil a large pot of water and season with salt. Cook the cabbage wedges for around five minutes.
Make bread crumbs by chopping one cup of bread cubes in a food processor. In a medium bowl, stir the bread crumbs with one teaspoon of mustard powder. Heat the bread crumbs in a skillet until they are golden.
In a skillet, heat the breadcrumbs with three tablespoons of oil, stirring frequently and salting to taste. Then remove the crumbs and let them cool on a paper towel.
Combine three tablespoons of oil, one tablespoon each of Dijon mustard and white wine vinegar, and one tablespoon of water. Salt and pepper to taste. Whisk the mixture until blended.
In a large cast-iron skillet, sear the cabbage wedges for three to four minutes until their edges are crispy on both cut sides. Cook two pounds of mixed sausages in a large skillet over medium heat.
