Some recipes by Sandra Lee include mixed roasted potatoes with herb butter, grilled roasted garlic shrimp skewers and bacon deviled eggs. To make grilled shrimp skewers, combine roasted garlic salad dressing, lemon juice and Italian seasoning. Marinate the shrimp for 5 minutes, skewer and grill over a medium-high heat.
To make bacon deviled eggs, make 6 hard boiled eggs. Cut each egg in half lengthwise, and separate the yolks from the whites. Mash the egg yolks together with 2 tablespoons or yogurt for a healthier version, 1 1/2 teaspoons of spicy mustard, 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of relish and 1/2 teaspoon of paprika. Fill the whites of the eggs with the mixture, and top with crumbled cooked bacon and chives.
To make mixed roasted potatoes with herb butter, boil a pot of salted water and add 1 1/2 pounds of cut potatoes. Cook for 10 minutes and drain. While the potatoes are cooling and drying, preheat the oven to 400 F.
Place the potatoes in a bowl, and toss with 1 tablespoon of canola oil. Spread them on a single layer on a baking sheet, and roast until fully they are cooked and crisped.
Combine 4 tablespoons of soften unsalted butter with 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley and thyme and 1/2 tablespoon of fresh chopped rosemary. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss cooked potatoes with herb butter and serve immediately.
