A well-rated peach moonshine recipe is found on the website, allthecooks.com. Tinklee's Peach Pie Moonshine calls for peach juice, sugar, cinnamon, peach schnapps, moonshine and sliced peaches. This recipe yields about 10 to 12 servings.
To start, combine 64-ounces white grape peach juice with 1 1/4-cup white granulated sugar, 1/4-cup brown sugar, one 15-ounce can sliced peaches with juices, three cinnamon sticks and 1/2-cup peach schnapps in a large pot. First, bring the mixture to a boil. Next, cover the pot and simmer for one hour. Finally, remove the pot from the heat, allowing it to cool down to room temperature. After this, proceed to add 1-cup 190 proof moonshine or everclear and 3/4-cup peach schnapps, and mix well.
Have 10 to 12-pint sized jars ready, and drain a second 15-ounce can of sliced peaches very well. Add one piece of fruit to each jar, paying close attention to using the nicer looking fruits. Using a cheese cloth, strain the moonshine mixture carefully into each jar, filling up to the top. Seal each jar tightly with a lid.
Store the sealed jars for approximately 6 weeks in a refrigerator. This allows the flavors to blend properly as well as mellow.
