To make Mexican white cheese dip, add 1 pound of cubed white American cheese, 1/2 cup milk and 1 tablespoon margarine or butter to a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook until the cheese melts, and stir the mixture frequently as it cooks.

Stir until the cheese melts, and then stir in 1 cup sour cream and 2 4-ounce cans of drained and diced green chilies. Continue cooking the sauce until the mixture until heated thoroughly without bringing the mixture to a boil, and then serve. The recipe makes 3 cups of sauce.
