To roast turkey legs, rinse and dry them, then bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Preheat the oven first and rinse the turkey legs while it is preheating. Pat the legs dry before baking.
Before baking the turkey legs, create long pockets in them by standing them up and using a knife to cut into the tissue. Place celery or other seasonings in these pockets and rub them with butter and salt. Place them in a roasting pan and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours. The internal temperature should be 180 degrees Fahrenheit and the skin of the legs should be golden brown.
