Toast pistachios in an oven that is preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread the pistachios on a cookie sheet in a single, even layer. Toast them for no more than eight minutes.
The pistachios are done when they become fragrant. When they are done toasting, remove them from the oven and carefully transfer them to a plate. The skins come off the pistachios easily when you rub them inside a clean towel. The skin is easier to remove when the pistachios are still warm. Before storing them, allow the pistachios to cool completely. Toasted pistachios are perfect for a salad or snack.
