Some recipes that can be made on an outdoor electric grill are pepper-bacon burgers, Korean barbecue beef and hot dog shish kabobs. Another recipe is grilled balsamic marinated flank steak that calls for extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, ground pepper and flank steak.
To make the grilled balsamic marinated flank steak recipe, place 1 1/2 pounds of flank steak in a sealable plastic bag along with 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar, 4 crushed garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of ground pepper. Allow the meat to marinate for at least two hours before cooking it on an electric grill for five to seven minutes on each side.
To make bacon-pepper burgers, saute 1 thinly sliced onion and 1 seeded and cut Anaheim pepper in 2 tablespoons of butter for five minutes. In a separate bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of bread crumbs, 6 slices of crumbled bacon, 4 seeded and minced serrano peppers and 2 tablespoons of milk, and then work in 1 pound of ground beef. Form the mixture into 3/4-inch patties, and grill the burgers covered for five to seven minutes, turning as needed. Serve the hamburgers on kaiser rolls with lettuce and the sautéed onions and peppers.
