Some recipes that use Oreos are Oreo cheesecake bites and chocolate caramel creme pie. The cheesecake bites use Oreos in the filling and the crust, while the creme pie uses Oreos in the crust.
To make Oreo cheesecake bites, preheat the oven to 325 F. Line a 13-by-9-inch pan with foil. Crush 24 Oreos, and mix with 1/4 cup butter. Press onto the bottom of the pan. Beat 4 8-ounces packages softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Add 1 cup sour cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add 4 eggs, one at a time. Chop 12 Oreos, and stir into the batter. Pour over the crust, and bake for 45 minutes. Microwave 1 4-ounce package semi-sweet baking chocolate and 1/4 cup butter, and spread over the cheesecake. Refrigerate for four hours.
To make chocolate caramel creme pie, combine 18 finely crushed Oreos and 3 tablespoons melted butter. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate. Mix 4-ounces brick cream cheese and 2 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping. Stir in 1 cup thawed cool whip, and spread onto the bottom of the crust. Beat 3.9-ounces chocolate instant pudding mix and 1 1/2 cups cold milk. Pour over cream cheese, and refrigerate for three hours.
