Two recipes that use Jell-O and cream cheese are Kraft's Pineapple Cream Cheese Jell-O Salad and Summer Berry Cheesecake Pie. Both recipes also call for whipped topping and fresh fruit.
To make Kraft's Pineapple Cream Cheese Jell-O Salad, start by mixing a 6-ounce package of lime Jell-O with 2 cups boiling water. Add in an 8-ounce package of softened cream cheese, then stir in a 16-ounce can of crushed pineapple and 1/2 cup cold water. Pour the Jell-O mixture into a 6-cup mold and refrigerate. Once the mold is set, place it on a serving plate and add a package of whipped topping to the center. Top the Jell-O salad with any kind of fresh or frozen fruit.
For the Summer Berry Cheesecake Pie, whisk together an 8-ounce package of softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons sugar. Add in 1 cup of whipped topping, then spread the cream cheese mixture on top of a pre-made graham cracker crust. Mix together 3/4 cup boiling water with a 3-ounce package of strawberry Jell-O. Stir in a 1/2 cup of ice cubes until melted, then let the Jell-O mixture set for at least five minutes.
Place 1/2 cup of blueberries in the center of the pie, surrounded by 1 1/2 cups of halved strawberries. Pour the Jell-O mixture over the fruit and refrigerate for about three hours. Top the cheesecake pie with 1 cup of whipped topping.
