Folgers' cinnamon mocha coffee and Millstone's caramel latte are good specialty coffee drink recipes. Each recipe requires around 15 minutes of preparation time. The recipe from Folgers makes six servings, whereas the Millstone recipe makes a single serving.
To make Folgers' cinnamon mocha coffee, prepare 4 cups of strongly brewed coffee, and place it in a saucepan with a 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, two 1-ounce squares of unsweetened chocolate and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Heat the mixture over low heat until it is hot. Pour the cinnamon mocha coffee into mugs, and serve immediately. Top the coffee with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, if desired.
To make a Millstone caramel latte, place 1/2 cup of milk in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave it on high for 60 to 90 seconds, or until the milk is hot, but not boiling. Whisk the milk until it is foamy.
Next, pour 3 to 4 tablespoons of caramel flavored syrup in a coffee mug, and heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Pour in 1/4 cup of fresh, hot, strong coffee. Add enough hot milk to fill the mug, and serve immediately. Garnish the caramel latte with whipped cream, caramel sundae syrup and toffee bits, if desired.
