Barbecued beans with kielbasa, cabbage kielbasa and creamy potatoes with kielbasa are three recipes for slow-cooking kielbasa. The barbecued beans with kielbasa recipe is the fastest to make, but requires the most ingredients.
To make barbecued beans with kielbasa, mix 31 ounces of canned northern beans, 30 ounces of canned black beans, 1 chopped onion, 1 cup of barbecue sauce, 1/4 cup of brown sugar as well as 1 tablespoon of ground mustard, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and 2 teaspoons of chili powder in a greased slow cooker. Place a kielbasa ring on the bean mixture and cook on low for five to six hours.
To make cabbage kielbasa, combine 8 cups of shredded cabbage, 3 cubed potatoes, 1 chopped onion, 1 3/4 teaspoons of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper in a slow cooker. Pour in 1 can of chicken broth and top with 2 pounds of smoked kielbasa. Cover and cook the mixture on low for eight to nine hours.
To make creamy potatoes with kielbasa, combine 28 ounces of frozen potatoes, 1 pound of smoked and sliced kielbasa, 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, 4 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of water in a slow cooker. Cover and cook the mixture on low for six to eight hours.
