Giada De Laurentiis and Jamie Oliver provide good recipes for making lamb chops on the grill. While the De Laurentiis recipe follows a simple grilled lamb recipe, Oliver's adds a Moroccan twist to come up with a flavor-filled dish.
To make Giada De Laurentiis' grilled lamb chops, add 1 tablespoon of minced rosemary leaves, a pinch of cayenne pepper, 2 cloves of crushed garlic, a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of thyme to a food processor. When well-combined, add a touch of olive oil and rub the lamb chops with the paste. Marinate in the refrigerator for one hour, then let the lamb chops sit on the counter for 20 minutes. On a heated grill pan, add the lamb chops and sear for three minutes on each side or until well-cooked.
To make Jamie Oliver's Moroccan grilled lamb chops, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of paprika and 1 tablespoon of mint on the lamb chops. Pour some lemon juice, lemon zest and olive oil into the mixture, and use your hands to mix everything together. Marinate for one hour. On a preheated griddle pan, sear the lamb chops for three minutes on each side or more, depending on the size of the chops. Serve hot with hummus, coleslaw and a variety of spiced nuts for added flavor.
