A recipe for a snack mix with Cheerios is honey-roasted Chex mix from Betty Crocker. The recipe requires 15 minutes of prep time and 55 total minutes to make 15 servings.
To make this snack mix, start by preheating the oven to 325 degrees. Add to an extra large mixing bowl, 3 cups of corn Chex cereal, 1 1/2 cups of Bugle corn snacks, 1 cup of pretzels or 1/2 cup of honey-roasted peanuts and 2 cups of Cheerios.
Take 2 tablespoons of light corn syrup, 2 tablespoons of honey and a tablespoon of butter and place them in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the mixture reaches a boil. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 of a teaspoon of vanilla. Pour heated mixture over the cereal mixture and stir until coated evenly.
Use a 15x10x1-inch pan and spread the cereal mixture over the pan. Bake for 20 minutes and stir once after 10 minutes. After taking snack mix out of the oven, spread it on wax paper to cool. Wait 15 minutes to cool, break into pieces and store in an air tight container.
