Thaw 4 pounds of frozen chicken wing sections. In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together 12 ounces of Frank's RedHot or another hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup of butter, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and 2 teaspoons each of dried oregano, onion powder and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for five minutes.
Add the chicken wings to a slow cooker. Top with sauce and cook on high for two hours. Reduce heat to low and cook for another two hours.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place wings on several greased baking sheets and bake for 30 minutes.
Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a small saucepan. Add 12 ounces of hot pepper sauce and simmer for 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Brush sauce onto the baked wings and serve with ranch or bleu cheese dressing.
For an alternative sauce, combine 5 ounces of hot sauce, 1/2 cup of melted butter, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dried oregano and 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke.
