Rachael Ray's television show provides a few recipes involving spaghetti squash, but the easiest one involves baking the spaghetti squash before serving it with a roasted tomato sauce.
Cut the squash in half, and roast it at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour. Coat the halved plum tomatoes in olive oil, garlic and spices on a baking sheet, and then add them to the oven so that they roast for 30 to 40 minutes. After roasting the squash, shred the inside of the vegetable with a fork so that it looks like spaghetti. After cooking the tomatoes, combine them with the torn basil leaves and sliced garlic to form a sauce, and then pour the sauce over the prepared squash.
Top the squash with grated Parmesan or a similar cheese. Typically, the squash itself serves as the serving bowl of the dish, but avoid eating the skin of the squash. Rachael Ray also shares recipes that use different sauces or turn the squash into a casserole.Learn more about Cooking
