AllRecipes.com shares a Philly tortilla roll-up recipe that includes Philadelphia cream cheese, vegetables, tortillas and ranch dressing. Begin by mixing 1/2 cup of cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing. This recipe makes 24 roll-ups.
After mixing together the cream cheese and ranch dressing, add in vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, red pepper strips and olives. Spread the mixture over four small whole wheat or flour tortillas. Roll each tortilla up tightly, wrap each in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for an hour to firm up. Cut each roll into six diagonal pieces.
One way to add versatility to this recipe is to add different flavors of cream cheese, such as garden variety, chive and onion, or reduced fat varieties.
Add salsa to the cream cheese with a bit of taco seasoning and sour cream. Spread refried beans on tortillas, spread with cream cheese mixture, then add black olives, chopped tomatoes, chopped lettuce and shredded cheese before rolling up the tortillas for a more Tex-Mex flavor. Serve these with salsa or guacamole.
For a fruit roll-up, use strawberry cream cheese mixed with a bit of orange juice, milk or water to thin it out. Add berries, bananas, apples or other fruit.
