Homemade Mounds candy bars can be made using a few ingredients, such as chocolate, coconut and condensed milk. Mix the coconut and condensed milk and shape into mounds, freeze so they harden into a solid and then dip each bar in melted chocolate.

Prep time: 1 hour
Ready in: 1 hour
- Unsweetened, shredded coconut
- Maldon salt or flaked sea salt
- Condensed milk
- Bittersweet chocolate, melted
- Line a baking sheet with foil
- Mix the ingredients
- Freeze the ingredients
- Melt the chocolate
- Cover the ingredients with the melted chocolate
- Cool the Mounds bars
Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat it with a non-stick cooking spray.
Combine the shredded coconut, condensed milk and salt into a bowl together. After all the ingredients are fully mixed, press them into individual bars and place them on the baking sheet.
Allow the bars to sit in the freezer for about 15 minutes until they are solid and do not break apart easily.
Place the bittersweet chocolate into a microwavable bowl and melt it in the microwave.
After the chocolate melts, take the frozen bars out of the freezer. Dip the bars into the chocolate, turning them with a fork so they are evenly coated.
After the bars are completely covered, place them back onto the baking tray and let them cool in the refrigerator until it is time to serve them.
