The Pioneer Woman website features a recipe for homemade frappuccino, designed to mimic the trademarked Frappuccino from Starbucks. Three different variations include vanilla, mocha and mocha chip, and all of them take less than five minutes to make.
To make a vanilla frappuccino, fill a blender with ice and add 12 ounces of extra strong coffee, 8 ounces of whole milk, 1/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and icy, or add 1/4 cup of half-and-half to make the frappuccino richer and creamier. Serve in a glass topped with whipped cream.
To make a mocha frappuccino, add 12 ounces of coffee, 1/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup to a blender. Fill the blender with ice and blend it until smooth. To make the frappuccino creamier, add 1/4 cup of half-and-half, and then serve it in a glass with whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup.
To make a mocha chip frappuccino, mix the same ingredients as the mocha frappuccino with the addition of a 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Top off the blender with ice and blend it until it is icy and smooth, with small bits of chocolate throughout. Serve the frappuccino in a glass with whipped cream, and drizzle with chocolate syrup or sprinkle with chocolate chips.
