Apple Cheddar Dog Biscuits
The recipe below makes about 16 apple cheddar dog biscuits and requires only a few ingredients. The treats do not contain any added flavorings, salt or sugars for a nutritional treat.

Ready In: 24 hours, 40 min.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place parchment paper of a non-stick mat on a large baking sheet.
Combine barley flour, old-fashioned oatmeal, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, applesauce and olive oil in a large mixing bowl. Add 3 tbsp. water to help form the dough.
Roll the dough between two sheets of plastic wrap until it is 1/4-inch thick.
Use a 3 1/2-inch bone shaped cookie cutter to cut out the shapes. Use the scraps to re-roll more dough and cut more shapes.
Place the biscuits about an inch apart on the baking sheet, and bake for 30 minutes.
Cool the biscuits on a wire rack inside the cool oven overnight. Transfer them to an airtight container and store for up to 2 weeks.
