To make a sirloin tip roast, season it with garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and then cook it in either a Crock-Pot or an oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare some peeled potatoes and carrots, and serve them with the sirloin tip roast.
Prepare a 3-pound sirloin tip roast by making eight to 10 slits in the meat. Place 1/2 clove of peeled garlic into each slit, and rub 1 teaspoon each of salt and pepper over the roast. Pour 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce over the roast in the baking pan or Crock-Pot. Wash, peel and quarter 4 to 6 potatoes and 6 to 8 carrots, and then place them in the roasting pan or Crock-Pot.
Before cooking a sirloin tip roast in the oven, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and bake the roast at this temperature for 20 minutes. Reduce the temperature by 325 degrees Fahrenheit for another hour or until the meat has reached the desired texture. Remove the roast from the oven, cover it loosely with foil, and allow it to rest for 15 minutes before carving. When making the roast in a Crock-Pot, cook it on low for six to seven hours. Use the pan drippings as gravy.
