To make Carrabba's bread dipping sauce, combine parsley, basil, rosemary, oregano, granulated garlic, hot red pepper, salt and pepper with olive oil. Carrabba's makes the recipe for its herb-olive oil dip available on its blog.
To make Carrabba's dipping sauce at home, gather the required fresh and dried herbs and olive oil. Mix 1 1/2 teaspoons of finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, 3/4 teaspoon of finely chopped fresh basil, 3/4 teaspoon of finely chopped fresh rosemary, 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of granulated garlic, 1/8 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper in a small bowl. Add 1/3 cup of olive oil, and stir well. Serve the dipping sauce with your favorite warm bread or rolls.
To impress your dinner guests, try serving the dip the same way the restaurant does. Place the herb mix on a plate, and then add the oil directly on top in front of your guests.
You can also try this herb sauce with pasta, fish or chicken for other flavorful variations. Substitute dried herbs if fresh herbs are not available. However, keep in mind that this may change the flavor of the dip slightly.
