Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups white rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 5 cups coconut milk, divided

  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 6 whole cloves
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins

  2. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in the 3 cups of water for 2 hours, or until the rice has increased in size.
