One quick beef tips and noodle recipe calls for sirloin tips to be baked in mushroom soup and beef and onion soup, then served over pasta. Canned soup makes this recipe relatively easy to prepare.
To make beef tips and noodles, cube 1 pound of sirloin beef tips. In a 13-by-9-inch casserole dish, combine a 10 3/4-ounce can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, a 1 1/4-ounce package of beef with onion soup mix, 1 drained 14 1/2-ounce can of mushrooms and 1 cup of water. Then add the cubed beef tips, and turn to ensure that the sauce coats the beef evenly. Place the dish in a preheated 400 degree Fahrenheit oven and cook for one hour.
While the beef tips bake, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a full boil. Add 1 16-ounce package of dry egg noodles, and cook them for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain the noodles well, and serve them topped with the beef tip sauce. Home cooks who tried this recipe gave it positive reviews, and some of them suggested substituting fresh sauteed mushrooms for the canned mushrooms. Some used milk in place of water for a creamier sauce.
