A quick and easy guacamole recipe by Paula Deen on the Food Network website involves a combination of avocado, lime juice, onion, sour cream and hot sauce. A simple guacamole recipe by Ina Garten is also available on Food Network's site. Real Simple offers another straightforward guacamole recipe.
Follow Paula Deen's guacamole recipe by mixing the flesh of 1 avocado with 1/2 of a chopped Vidalia onion, 1 tablespoon of sour cream and the juice of one lime. Season the mixture with hot sauce, salt and black pepper.
Make guacamole according to Ina Garten's instructions by placing the flesh of four avocados into a bowl. Stir in 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 8 dashes of hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup of finely-diced red onion and one minced clove of garlic. Season with salt and black pepper. Slice the avocado flesh with a knife before incorporating one diced tomato. Add more salt and pepper to taste if necessary.
To prepare guacamole according to the Real Simple recipe, finely chop one jalapeño and half of a white onion, and mix them with 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro, 3/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Mash the mixture with a fork before stirring in the diced flesh of two avocados and 2 tablespoons of lime juice.
