To ensure the competitive quality of Great Value products, Walmart periodically conducts consumer taste tests for appearance, aroma, flavor, color and texture. Since 2009, Walmart has changed the formulas of approximately 750 Great Value products and introduced roughly 80 new ones.
On product review websites, such as Influenster.com, members share mostly positive reviews and favorable star ratings about many Great Value products, from sandwich bags to canned diced tomatoes.
