Prepare a sour cream Jello salad recipe by mixing together one 16-ounce can of jellied cranberry sauce, 2 packages of black cherry-flavored gelatin mix and 1 3/4 cup of boiling water in a bowl. Refrigerate the gelatin until it sets, and fold in one 16-ounce container of sour cream.
To make Strawberry Mold jello salad with sour cream, dissolve two 3-ounce packages of strawberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Mix in two 10-ounce containers of frozen strawberries, 3 sliced medium bananas, 1 cup of drained and crushed pineapple and 1 cup of chopped pecans. Pour half the mixture into a Jello mold, and refrigerate it until it sets. Layer 1 cup of sour cream on top of it, and add the rest of the gelatin. Refrigerate the salad until the top layer sets, and garnish it with freshly sliced strawberries and pineapple pieces.
Another good recipe is the Yummiest, Tastiest Raspberry Jell-O Salad that calls for boiling 1 cup of water with one 8-ounce can of crushed pineapple. Pour the boiling mixture into a bowl with one 6-ounce package of raspberry-flavorited gelatin mix, and stir everything until the gelatin dissolves. Pour in 1 cup of cold water and one 21-ounce can of raspberry pie filling into the mixture, and place the mixture in a glass dish before refrigerating it. Once the salad sets, top it with a mixture made of 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar.
