Begin preparing Lundberg Wild Blend Rice by mixing 1 cup of rice, 1 3/4 cups of water, and 1 tablespoon of butter or oil in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil before covering with a lid. Reduce the heat, allowing the mixture to simmer for 45 minutes while stirring occasionally. When finished, remove the lidded pot from the stove, and allow it to steam for 10 minutes. Use a fork to fluff the rice before serving.
Occasionally, Lundberg Wild Blend Rice is still crunchy after 45 minutes of simmering. Add 2 tablespoons of water, and continue cooking until soft.
This recipe can also be made using a rice cooker. To do this, omit the butter and oil, and instead add equal parts water and rice to the rice cooker. Operate the rice cooker according to its manufacturer's directions.
