To prepare Buffalo chicken wings, mix ½ cup of all-purpose flour, ¼ teaspoon of paprika, ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper and ¼ teaspoon of salt in a bowl, and then evenly coat 10 chicken wings with the mixture. Put them in a dish and refrigerate, covered, for 60 to 90 minutes, and then deep fry them in hot oil for 10 to 15 minutes. Put the cooked wings in a serving bowl, and stir them with a prepared hot sauce.
To prepare the hot sauce, combine ¼ cup of butter, ¼ cup of hot sauce and 1 dash each of ground black pepper and garlic powder in a saucepan over low heat. Stir the ingredients together until the butter has melted. When the mixture is blended, remove it from the heat and set aside to stir into the cooked wings.
The hot oil used to deep fry Buffalo chicken wings should be heated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, and it should be deep enough in the pot to completely cover all of the wings. Remove the cooked wings from the oil when some parts start turning brown, and then place them in a serving bowl to mix with the prepared hot sauce.
