Some popular Martha Stewart recipes are snickerdoodle cupcakes, John Legend's macaroni and cheese, and triple-chocolate mousse cake. Other top recipes include her strawberry torte and mini deep-dish pizzas.
To make snickerdoodle cupcakes, whisk together 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon cinnamon in one bowl, and cream together 1 cup softened unsalted butter and 1 3/4 cups sugar in another bowl. Beat 4 eggs into the sugar and butter mixture, and stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Alternate between adding the flour mixture and 1 1/4 cups milk to the butter and sugar mixture, and then pour the batter into cupcake liners. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
For John Legend's macaroni and cheese, cook 3 cups of macaroni according to package instructions, and mix it with 4 tablespoons butter. In another bowl, combine 2 cans of evaporated milk, 1/3 cup skim milk and 2 eggs, and season with 1/2 teaspoon of seasoned salt, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Layer 1/3 of the macaroni in the bottom of a baking dish followed by one-third of 16 ounces of grated cheddar cheese and one-third of 8 ounces of grated Monterey Jack cheese. Repeat the layers with the rest of the pasta and cheese, and cover it with the milk mixture and paprika. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 45 minutes.
