Copycat recipes of K&W Cafeteria dishes include baked spaghetti and German chocolate pie. To make the baked spaghetti, cook 6 ounces of spaghetti, following the directions on the package. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Brown 1 pound ground beef with 1 cup chopped onions, and drain any excess grease. Measure 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and divide it into thirds. Add 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper and a third of the shredded cheese to the meat. Stir in 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon prepared mustard and 1 1/4 cup ketchup, and simmer the ingredients for five minutes.
Add in 3/4 cup beef stock and the cooked spaghetti. Place the spaghetti in a casserole dish, and top with 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella and the rest of the cheddar cheese. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
To make German chocolate pie, combine 7 tablespoons cocoa, 3 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 1 cup chopped pecans and 1 cup coconut. Add in 1 13-ounce can of evaporated milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 stick of butter. Pour the filling into an unbaked pie shell, and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 minutes.
