To make a grilled plum and pork salad, season 1 pound of pork tenderloin with salt and canola oil. Grill it covered for five minutes on both sides. Mix together 1/4 cup of hot sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 2 pressed garlic cloves. Cut 3 large plums into wedges, and grill them for three to five minutes. Add 8 cups of sliced cabbage, sprinkle them with 2 teaspoons of canola oil, and season with salt. Transfer to platter. Coat pork with hot-sauce mixture, and grill it for eight more minutes until done. Slice it and add to the salad.
To make a coconut French toast, mix together 5 eggs, 1 can of unsweetened coconut milk, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice and a pinch of salt. Soak 8 slices of bread in the mixture, and fry them in a skillet with 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil. Sprinkle each side with sweetened shredded coconut, and cook until golden brown.
