Stir in 1 20-ounce can drained, unsweetened crushed pineapple. Cut 5 slices white bread into cubes, and fold these into the pineapple mixture.
Spoon mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes or until casserole reaches 160 degrees F. This recipe serves 10.
