A pie crust is easy to make. One simple pie crust recipe requires only four ingredients mixed together: flour, chilled butter, salt and ice water.
After mixing the ingredients in a food processor, remove and press the dough to form a ball. Flatten into a round disk and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Use a rolling pin to roll out the pie dough. Lightly flour the counter top and rolling pin to prevent the pie dough from sticking. Place the pie dough into a pie plate. Pinch and fold the pie dough over the edges of the pie plate. Use a fork and make several holes on the bottom and sides of the dough. Allow the dough to chill in the refrigerator for up to 30 minutes before baking.
