Some noodle recipes that use beef tips include Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff, Steak Tips with Peppered Gravy Mushrooms and Beef Tips with Noodles. Another recipe is Easy Beef Burgundy that is cooked in a slow cooker for six to eight hours.
To make Easy Beef Burgundy in a slow cooker, combine 1 pound of sirloin beef tips that are cut into 1-inch squares, 1/4 cup of burgundy, 3 regular sized chopped onions, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1 can of condensed mushroom soup and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper. Cook the mixture on low heat. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
To make Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff, start by layering 1/2 cup of chopped onions, 1 clove of finely chopped garlic and 1 pound of tri-tip steak that is cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Mix 2 cans of condensed mushroom soup with 1/2 cup of water and pour liquid over the beef in the slow cooker. Cook on low heat for five to seven hours, and then add in 2 1/2 cups of wide egg noodles. Turn the heat to high and cook for another 20 to 30 minutes, or when the noodles are tender. Stir in 1 cup of sour cream. Top with finely chopped parsley, if desired.
