For 2015, the best-selling wine brands by volume are Barefoot, Gallo, Concha y Toro, Robert Mondavi and Sutter Home, according to The Drinks Business. California's Barefoot wine, owned by E&J Gallo Winery, is most popular. The brand sold 18 million 9-liter cases worldwide in 2014.
E&J Gallo Winery also produces the successful Gallo brand, which sold 14.5 million cases that same year. Its Moscato wine is especially popular. Concha y Toro from Chile moved 14.2 million cases. That is almost an 8 percent increase from the previous year.
Robert Mondavi, owned by California's Constellation Brands, sold 12.1 million cases in 2014. The brand includes Napa Valley and Woodbridge wines. Trinchero Family Estates owns Sutter Home, another popular California brand. Though consumers bought 10.85 million cases, that is a 3 percent drop from 2013.
