As of June of 2013, the best-selling cereals in the United States are Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Frosted Flakes, Honey Bunches of Oats and Honey Nut Cheerios, with Honey Nut Cheerios taking the top spot. Other cereals that round out the list of the top 10 best-selling cereals include Froot Loops, Frosted Mini Wheats, Lucky Charms, Kellogg's Raisin Bran and Special K.
This information was culled from sales that took place at grocery stores, convenience stores, drugstores, club and dollar stores, military commissaries and mass-market retailers for the 52-week period prior to June of 2013. General Mills manufactures four of the top 10 sellers, including both versions of Cheerios while Kellogg's makes five of them. Honey Bunches of Oats is made by Post Foods.
