Baked mac and cheese, no-boil classic lasagna and angel hair caprese are some pasta recipes from Mueller's. Ingredients in the recipes include cornstarch, milk, tomatoes and various cheeses such as Mozzarella and cheddar.
To make the baked mac and cheese, cook 8 ounces of Mueller's elbow pasta for six minutes, and drain it. In a saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and stir in 3 cups of milk until the mixture is smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and keep stirring, and bring it to a boil for one minute. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in 1 3/4 cups of American or cheddar cheese until it melts, add in the cooked pasta, and pour it into a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle it with 1/4 cup of cheese, and bake it uncovered for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 375 F.
The angel hair caprese recipe calls for 1 package of angel hair pasta, 4 medium chopped tomatoes, 8 ounces of Mozzarella cheese cut into 1/2-inch cubes, 1/2 cup of minced basil and 1/2 cup of olive oil vinaigrette dressing. Cook and drain the pasta. In a bowl, combine the pasta with the tomatoes, cheese cubes and basil. Drizzle it with the dressing, and toss the pasta.
